Job Description **Role Overview:** The Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) team at Visa focuses on turning massive amounts of data into actionable insights to ensure seamless, secure commerce experiences across Visas physical and digital ecosystem. As a Data & Insights Analyst, you will play a crucial role in delivering data-driven insights to internal and external stakeholders, contributing to maintaining security and integrity within Visa's payment processing network. **Key Responsibilities:** - Leverage data analytics to identify trends and patterns in fraud and dispute cases, enhancing ecosystem security. - Define business objectives and formalize data requirements in a fast-paced environment. - Serve as a subject matter expert in analytics and insights. - Provide in-depth analysis and insights on global initiatives and regional priorities. - Mentor and develop junior team members to foster talent growth. - Compare client performance against industry best practices to identify improvement opportunities. - Craft meaningful presentations from complex data to drive actionable recommendations. - Ensure data-driven decision making is a priority for clients and internal stakeholders. - Translate Visas rules and compliance programs into client engagement strategies. - Cultivate cross-functional partnerships to advance strategic initiatives. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** - 2+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, OR 3-5 years of relevant work experience. **Preferred Qualifications:** - 3-5 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree, or 2+ years with an Advanced Degree. - Big data experience (Hadoop, Hive, Spark), data visualization experience (Tableau, Power BI), and SQL experience are critical. - 3-5 years of progressive success in roles of increasing responsibility. - Proven experience in risk analytics, strategic advisory roles, and AI integration. - Excellent presentation and communication abilities. - Ability to identify and leverage market trends for strategic advantage. - Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of various data environments and tools. - Strong written, verbal, motivational, and interpersonal skills are required.
