Data Engineers - Data Analytics Competence GECIA

Job Description Role Overview: As a Data Engineer at our company, you will be working on projects in the Data Analytics Competence in GECIA. Your main responsibility will be to execute Data Engineering projects assigned to you and coordinate for their successful delivery to various divisions and product companies of Atlas Copco in the Data Analytics domain through GECIA. You will collaborate closely with teams in various divisions and product companies of Atlas Copco to ensure the successful execution of projects. Key Responsibilities: - Provide engineering skills to both Data Science Research Teams and BI/Reporting Project Teams to source, extract, combine, transform, and clean data into usable, secure, and accessible datasets - Advise on optimal Data Model design and contribute to defining key capabilities for delivering a trusted Data Supermarket - Produce high-quality reusable data content for the Data Supermarket - Work on Data Engineering projects in fields like Sales & Marketing, Engineering & Manufacturing, Purchase & Sourcing, HR, IT, and Finance within the Data Analytics team of GECIA - Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, assemble large, complex data sets from multiple sources, and create documentation on data pipelines and models developed Qualifications Required: - Must have skills in Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, Data cleaning, DAX expressions, Data Modeling, Visualizations), strong SQL skills, and good knowledge of Python programming - Data Modeling skills and experience with any ETL/data processing platform - Ability to create documentation on data pipelines and data models developed - Knowledge/experience of the Software Development Lifecycle and an appreciation/understanding of creating good quality software solutions suitable for a large enterprise - Nice-to-have skills include specific SAS experience, Microsoft Azure applications experience, and knowledge/experience of Tibco Data Virtualization (TDV) Additional Company Details: Our company values diversity and inclusion, believing that bright ideas come from all of us.
