Your work will enable scalable, highly available, and secure connectivity for mission‑critical workloads across enterprise and cloud environments.Detailed Job DescriptionIn this role, you will lead the architecture and rollout of VXLAN/EVPN‑based data center networks, integrating with firewalls, load balancers, virtualization platforms, and cloud on‑ramps. You’ll own low‑level design, implementation, and migration activities, ensuring minimal downtime and clear documentation. You will collaborate with architecture, security, and platform teams to deliver segmentation, multi‑tenant designs, and robust L2/L3 services across multiple data centers. Expect hands‑on work with leaf/spine fabrics (e.g., Cisco Nexus), automation for consistency, and rigorous change/testing practices. You’ll also provide third‑line support, root‑cause analysis, and knowledge transfer.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement VXLAN/EVPN spine–leaf fabrics and L2/L3 segmentationProduce HLD/LLD, migration runbooks, and as‑built documentationIntegrate DC fabrics with firewalls, load balancers, virtualization, and DCIOptimize routing (BGP/OSPF) and policy for performance and resiliencyExecute migrations and cutovers with change and risk controlsAutomate standard tasks (e.g., validation, config templates) using Ansible/PythonProvide advanced troubleshooting, RCA, and on‑call escalation supportRequired Qualifications & Skills5–8+ years in data center networking with hands‑on VXLAN/EVPN experienceStrong skills on Cisco Nexus/NX‑OS (or equivalent DC platforms)Deep knowledge of IP routing (BGP/OSPF), multihoming, ECMP, and VRFsProficiency with fabric troubleshooting, packet capture, and telemetrySolid documentation, stakeholder communication, and change managementNice‑to‑Have SkillsCCNP/CCIE Data Center (or equivalent)Experience with DCI (EVPN DC‑GW/OTV), load balancers, and firewallsAutomation with Ansible, Python, Git, CI/CDFamiliarity with VMware, KVM, containers, and cloud connectivityExperience with intent‑based validation and NAE/telemetry toolsRecruitment Pro TipShow before/after diagrams from a VXLAN migration or a brief summary of a fabric you built (scale, protocols, and business impact).
