Job Description As a Data Analyst at Medtronic, you will be responsible for making collected data insightful and easy to understand, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions for their business. Your role involves analyzing data quality, enhancing data quality solutions, and fostering a network of business data stewards and owners to improve Medtronic Core Data Quality. You will support Data Governance Champions in achieving strategic objectives and delivering high-quality data to business stakeholders. Your success will depend on your ability to work with various stakeholders and collaborate effectively to ensure data completeness, consistency, timeliness, accessibility, accuracy, and adherence to global privacy rules. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on master data management, analysis, and quality - Conduct standard and ad hoc data profiling for domains, facilitating data clean-up and readiness - Identify and address quality issues in the data domain through proactive analysis - Develop and provide KPIs for quality issues using data visualization solutions - Consult with local data stewards to improve core data quality and facilitate data enhancements - Integrate suggestions and feedback from business data stewards in data analysis - Respond to data users' requests to analyze and resolve data problems - Train other analysts and teams for self-service purposes - Lead working groups to support governance and participate in projects as needed - Leverage analytical skills to identify data patterns and trace quality issues back to root causes - Collaborate with departments like Insights Driven Care, Commercial, and Customer Service to understand how they operate and utilize master data - Independently work and partner with end-users and business partners to assess and document data quality requirements - Drive continuous improvement towards data quality by making measurable progress Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree - 3 years of experience in Data and Analytics - 1 year of experience with SQL or data modeling - 1 year of Data analyst experience - Previous Medtronic experience (Nice to Have) - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology (Nice to Have) - Knowledge of information protection policies - Experience in working across global teams - Ability to understand end-audience needs and requirements - Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities - Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills - Ability to work well in a global team environment - Healthcare industry/business knowledge or experience - Experience with Informatica product suite (MDM, IDQ, AXON) - Detailed knowledge of tables & datasets related to MDM core master data domains (customer, supplier, product, patient & HCP) - Power BI experience By joining Medtronic, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to changing healthcare worldwide.
