Data Analyst II

Job Description As a Data Scientist at Regal Rexnord, you will be joining the Data Analytics & AI team to develop predictive models, analytical insights, and AI-driven solutions for various business functions such as Sales, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain. This hands-on role is ideal for a data scientist with strong fundamentals and a passion for working on real-world enterprise data problems. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning and statistical models for business use cases like forecasting, segmentation, anomaly detection, and optimization - Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to discover patterns, trends, and business insights - Collaborate with Data Scientist lead, data engineers, and BI teams to ensure data quality, feature readiness, and pipeline reliability - Translate business problems into analytical problem statements and measurable outcomes - Present findings and model outputs clearly to business and technical stakeholders - Support model monitoring, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement - Document models, assumptions, and methodologies following enterprise standards Required Skills & Qualifications: - 46 years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or a similar role - Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, statsmodels) - Solid understanding of supervised & unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, and time-series forecasting - Experience with SQL and working on cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred) - Knowledge of statistics, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation techniques - Ability to communicate analytical insights in a simple, business-friendly manner Regal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with a focus on providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit, and control motion.
