Job Description As a Data Analyst and Tools Administrator at Celestica, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development operations and business intelligence. Your primary focus will be on generating actionable analytics and managing key ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including analytics & reporting, data integration & querying, tools administration, documentation & training, stakeholder collaboration, business intelligence mastery, and scripting/coding. Additionally, you will need to have prior experience in tools administration. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Analytics & Reporting**: - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of impactful dashboards and reports using business intelligence platforms like Power BI to offer real-time insights into engineering and operational performance. - **Data Integration & Querying**: - Extract, transform, and load (ETL) operational data into reporting tools, utilizing SQL to perform complex data extraction, manipulation, and integrity checks across various data sources. - **Tools Administration**: - Configure, maintain, and manage user access for ALM or DevOps tools within the organization. - Write and maintain low complexity code/scripts in Python/batch to automate routine administrative tasks, handle tool configurations, and facilitate seamless data integration/cleanup. - **Documentation & Training**: - Develop and update comprehensive documentation for data models, tool configurations, and reporting standards. - Offer necessary training and support to end-users. - **Stakeholder Collaboration**: - Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and operational teams to comprehend data requirements and deliver effective data-driven reporting solutions. - **Business Intelligence Mastery**: - Showcase hands-on expertise in building robust reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI or similar platforms, with a focus on data visualization for informed decision-making. - **Scripting/Coding**: - Demonstrate the ability to write and troubleshoot low complexity code for automation, data manipulation, and tool configurations. **Qualifications Required:** - 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy, process efficiency, and measurement fidelity. - Proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and manipulating large datasets. - Experience in designing scalable and efficient data models for BI reporting purposes. - Familiarity with major application security tools like Blackduck or Coverity.
