Job Description Role Overview: The data analyst role within the GTM Strategy & Revenue Operations (GRO) team at Cisco is a strategic and highly visible position. As a data analyst, you will collaborate with various cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects focused on segment growth and cross-segment initiatives. Your role will involve gaining a deep understanding of Cisco's business and leveraging data visualization, storytelling, and analytics to provide valuable insights for sales growth and market strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Theatre Sales, Marketing, Industry Solutions, and internal data stewards to drive strategic projects aimed at segment growth and incremental revenue generation - Gain a deep understanding of Cisco's business to provide valuable insights through data visualization, storytelling, and analytics - Utilize predictive analytics to uncover opportunities for sales growth and drive impactful decision-making - Serve as the go-to person for all data-related matters and effectively communicate data insights to leaders across various functions - Utilize resources across multiple regions to tackle complex problems and drive execution-focused results with a focus on quality and timeliness - Identify whitespace opportunities through analysis of sales and market share performance data to inform business growth strategies Qualifications Required: - 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or management; a Master's degree in management is preferred - Proficiency in business and analytical skills to comprehend business requirements and generate reports using various data sources - Ability to uncover trends and insights beyond the data and identify whitespace opportunities for business growth - Familiarity with Tableau and MS Excel for data visualization and reporting; proficient in presenting results using MS PowerPoint - Adaptability to work with internal tools, drive process improvements, and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders - Resourcefulness in devising creative solutions to problems and working with large datasets - Familiarity with Cisco data landscape, technology, and sales terminology is a plus - Certification in Tableau, Snowflake, or Data Engineering tools is also a plus (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.)
