Job Location: Dubai (Onsite)Job Type: ContractJob Duration: 1 Year (extendable)Role Purpose:The Cybersecurity Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cybersecurity projects across enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, security platforms, applications, and compliance programs. This role ensures that all cybersecurity initiatives align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management strategies while effectively coordinating across internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.The role manages projects related to security platform engineering, vulnerability management (VPAT), application security, DevSecOps, compliance initiatives, security automation, and enterprise-wide security enhancements. The Cybersecurity Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined security requirements.As a key contributor to the Security Program and Platforms function, the role works closely with Platform Engineering, Security Testing, IT Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, and Business Units to align security projects with operational and strategic objectives.Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Cyber Security Demand ManagementManage the demand intake process for cybersecurity initiatives, working with business units, IT teams, and security leadership to assess security needs.Maintain a structured demand management framework, prioritizing security initiatives based on business impact, risk severity, compliance requirements, and available resources.Create and manage a security project demand pipeline, ensuring new security initiatives are assessed, scoped, and resourced appropriately.Provide visibility into upcoming projects, backlogs, and resource constraints through structured reporting.Oversee resource allocation across multiple security projects, ensuring optimal use of team members.Manage security team timesheets, workload distribution, and tracking of billable/non-billable effortsCybersecurity Project Planning & ExecutionManage end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet security, compliance, and business objectives.Plan, initiate, and oversee the execution of security projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and security requirements.Develop and manage detailed project plans, defining scope, milestones, resource requirements, and budgets.Act as the primary liaison between security teams, business stakeholders, and vendors for security project execution.Ensure the timely execution of security projects across different teams.Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project completion.Ensure all security projects align with MAF PMO standards.Provide regular project status updates and risk reports to senior leadership.Security Governance, Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure all cybersecurity projects adhere to compliance and governance frameworks, minimizing security risks to the enterprise.Track project alignment with risk management frameworks, security policies, and enterprise security strategy.Work with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure security projects meet audit and regulatory requirements.Establish KPIs, reporting metrics, and dashboards to measure project success, risk reduction, and compliance adherence.Definition of SuccessEnsuring all cybersecurity projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.All security projects align with compliance and regulatory requirements.Seamless integration of security controls into enterprise IT, cloud, and business processes.High visibility and reporting accuracy of security project status, risks, and milestones.Successful vendor and stakeholder collaboration ensuring optimal security tool implementationFunctional/Technical CompetenciesExpertise in cybersecurity program and project management in enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and risk management methodologies (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).Experience managing security projects across different security domains.Strong knowledge and understanding of security platforms and tools (e.g. SIEM, IAM, CASB, WAF, DLP, EDR, and cloud security solutions).Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM), Agile, ITIL, and PMP methodologies.Experience working with cybersecurity compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworks.Personal Characteristics and Required Background:Skillset (job-specific skills)Project management expertise in cybersecurity program delivery.Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.Experience managing cybersecurity budgets, contracts, and SLAs.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in security risk assessment.Ability to coordinate between multiple security teams and business units.Proficiency in security project tracking tools (ServiceNow, Microsoft Project).Excellent written, verbal commu
