Cybersecurity Engineer (ZTNA / SASE)

We are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer – ZTNA / SASE to join our Cybersecurity team.The role supports the cybersecurity infrastructure program by ensuring secure connectivity for users, applications, and devices across on‑premises and cloud environments. The engineer enforces identity‑based access control, device posture verification, and secure remote access mechanisms in alignment with the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC), international cybersecurity standards, and internal cybersecurity policies.The position works closely with network, cloud, and IT infrastructure teams to ensure secure and resilient access to enterprise resources while supporting the organization’s Zero Trust security architectureKey ResponsibilitiesZTNA / SASE Platform ManagementImplement and maintain ZTNA and SASE solutions to provide secure access to enterprise applications.Configure secure access policies based on user identity, device posture, and contextual risk.Integrate ZTNA solutions with enterprise identity providers such as Active Directory and Azure AD.Manage secure remote access for internal users, partners, and third‑party vendors.Monitor system health, performance, and availability of SASE infrastructure.Secure Network Access ArchitectureSupport the implementation of Zero Trust architecture across enterprise environments.Ensure secure connectivity between users, devices, and enterprise applications.Implement segmentation and secure access policies to protect sensitive systems.Support integration of SASE platforms with existing network security tools such as firewalls and secure web gateways.Security Monitoring & OperationsMonitor ZTNA/SASE systems for anomalies and suspicious access activities.Investigate and respond to access‑related security incidents.Maintain logs and security telemetry for monitoring and forensic purposes.Work with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to support incident investigation and response.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure ZTNA and SASE deployments comply with NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC).Support cybersecurity audits and regulatory assessments.Maintain documentation for secure access architecture, policies, and configurations.Ensure secure access practices align with ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework requirements.Operational Support & Continuous ImprovementPerform upgrades, patching, and maintenance of ZTNA/SASE platforms.Troubleshoot access issues and provide support to IT teams.Identify opportunities to improve secure access architecture and operational efficiency.Participate in cybersecurity infrastructure projects and new technology deployments.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.Experience4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or secure access technologies.Hands-on experience with ZTNA or SASE solutions such as:Zscaler | Palo Alto Prisma Access | Netskope | Cloudflare.Experience with secure remote access technologies and enterprise networking environments.Preferred CertificationsCISSP – Certified Information Systems Security ProfessionalCCSP – Certified Cloud Security ProfessionalCompTIA Security+Network Security Certifications such as CCNP Security#J-18808-Ljbffr
