You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates, playing a pivotal role in shaping Alstom’s success by driving tender preparation and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and internal processes. Day‑to‑day you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Tender Leaders, Sub‑System Bid Managers, Finance, and Legal), analyze customer needs, define operational strategies and manage tender deliverables.Co‑ordinating internal activities to influence Customer Specifications.Ensuring compliance with applicable Alstom rules including TEN‑PRO‑001 Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality and PMM.Working in close collaboration with the Tender Leader and the full tender team, including Sub‑System Bid Managers.Determining the complexity of tenders using reliable information and criticality matrices.Building in liaison with the Tender Leader the schedule to prepare the offer.Preparing and issuing the Invitation for Quotation (IFQ).Supporting the Tender Leader in defining bid commercial strategy and liaising with partners.Analyzing the Request for Proposal (RFP) in detail and defining the bid operational strategy while aligning with the commercial strategy.Preparing the technical description of the offered solution, including compliance matrices and clause‑by‑clause responses.Participating in contract negotiations and ensuring feasibility of requested evolutions versus the approved reference.All about youDegree in Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related field.Experience or understanding of project or bid management, particularly in costing, planning and risk management.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, processes and specificities.Familiarity with Alstom processes, including the Golden Rules and Ethics & Compliance guidelines.Strong communication and reporting skills.Negotiation skills with a customer‑oriented mindset.Basic understanding of financial, contractual and legal aspects to support bid preparation.High capability to manage and coordinate cross‑functional teams under tight deadlines.Sense of anticipation and adaptability to dynamic environments.Resilience and ability to work effectively under pressure.Things you’ll enjoyEnjoy stability, challenges and a long‑term career free from boring daily routines.Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.Work with cybersecurity‑specific bid management processes and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality tenders.Progress toward mastering project/bid management, costing, planning, risk management and negotiation in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.Utilise our inclusive, collaborative and innovation‑driven working environment.Important to noteAs a global business, we are an equal‑opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in.
