Cyber Security Officer – Healthcare (Hospital)We are seeking a Cyber Security Officer with healthcare domain experience to join our hospital IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting hospital systems, medical devices, and patient data, while supporting our ongoing cybersecurity and digital transformation initiatives.This role requires hands-on experience with enterprise security tools, incident response, vulnerability management, and healthcare compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents and alertsManage vulnerability scanning and remediation (Rapid7 IVM)Monitor SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutionsSecure hospital systems including EMR, PACS, LIS, RIS, and HISEnsure compliance with applicable healthcare cybersecurity and privacy regulations, and enforce measures to protect patient data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.Manage email security and phishing protection (Mimecast)Conduct security risk assessments and auditsWork with IT, clinical teams, and vendors on security improvementsConduct security awareness and phishing trainingRequired Technical SkillsRapid7 IDR (SIEM)Rapid7 IVM (Vulnerability Management)IDS / IPSMimecast Email Security GatewayMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field3–5 years of cybersecurity experienceHealthcare / hospital experience preferredExperience with SIEM and vulnerability management toolsExperience with Microsoft Security Stack#J-18808-Ljbffr
