Job DescriptionPosted Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 5:00 AMThe Customer Service Representative at Amphenol Middle East (AME) is responsible for supporting customers by providing accurate and timely information regarding orders, quotations, product availability, and delivery schedules.This role manages order entry, monitors order status, and coordinates with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilled. The CSR works closely with sales, engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and ensure accurate documentation throughout the order lifecycle.Knowledge / Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applicationsExperience working within ERP or order processing systemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentStrong organizational and problem‑solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy in documentationAbility to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teamsSelf‑motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilitiesAbility to interpret basic technical documentation such as drawings, specifications, and order requirementsCommitment to continuous improvement and professional developmentQualifications / Education / Experience:High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferredMinimum 3–5 years of experience in customer service, order management, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial environmentExperience working with ERP systems and order processing tools preferredStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teamsStrong attention to detail and follow‑up skillsProficiency in English (written and verbal) requiredDuties / Responsibilities:Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, order status, and shipment updatesReceive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy of product specifications, quantities, pricing, and delivery requirementsEnter and maintain customer orders, quotes, and related documentation in the ERP systemCoordinate with engineering, production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and fulfilledMonitor order status and proactively communicate delays or changes to customers while identifying potential solutionsMaintain customer records, cross‑reference files, and shipping information within internal systemsSupport contract review processes to ensure customer orders align with product specifications and internal capabilitiesReview and interpret manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications when required to confirm order accuracyAssist with resolving customer concerns including returns, exchanges, or warranty requests in coordination with the Quality teamWork with internal teams to investigate product issues and support root cause analysis when requiredMaintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company positively in all customer interactionsEnsure accurate documentation and maintain organized records for all customer transactionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to customer service processes and order managementLocation:Ajman, United Arab Emirates (facility relocating to Sharjah in the near future)Benefits and Compensation:Amphenol Middle East offers a competitive compensation and benefits package in accordance with local labor regulations.
