Mechanical Commissioning LeadLocation: Home Office - Abu DhabiLocation: In YardResponsibilitiesCoordinate technical issue resolutionRetain Completions Technical Lead on all engineering‑related issuesInterface with PE & PMT for major commercial & PM decisionsManage engineering, quality, construction (MC) and procurement interfacesMonitor design and fabrication progress of process equipment packagesParticipate in development of the TCPsParticipate in performance tests for major equipmentInterface with subcontractors’ project management to ensure all critical commercial and technical issues are addressedComponents not passing qualitySpecification deviationsInspection reportsEngineering technical support of planning efforts for mechanical completion and commissioning activities in the vendor shops, fabrication yard, and at siteReview and approval of DCNs & FCRsAssist in determining testing criteria for FATs for major pieces of equipment to ensure equipment has been fully tested to international standards and all documentation has been received in full and all FAT punch list items were recorded and added to the Systems Completion DatabaseLead efforts to develop site performance test procedures and criteriaParticipation in generation of project systems completion schedule for all project phasesParticipate in Systems Completion (SC) workshops to ensure alignment between all stakeholders and what is required from them for SC acceptance at all project milestonesGenerate full step‑by‑step dynamic commissioning procedures on Systems allocated to them during designManage procurement of all commissioning and start‑up spares, first‑fills, special tools and equipment to ensure all mentioned are present at site in a timely manner for executionDevelop Systems completions vendor support plan for their related SystemsTechnical oversight during fabrication, mechanical completion, and commissioning activitiesInterface with engineering management on issues such as shop fabrication design change request, inspection reports, quality, RFIs, specification deviations, and P&ID changesInterface with discipline system owners to prioritize and ensure focus on completion of related SystemsEnsure quality, accuracy and integrity of all System issues, including agreement on any changes, close‑out verifications, schedule opportunitiesInterface with construction group to ensure mechanical completion check sheets are allocated accordingly to each item of equipment to be inspectedEnsure adherence to commissioning proceduresSystem walk‑downs, ensure appropriateProfileBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar education with a minimum experience of 15 years in the oil & gas industry.
