As the Nominated Post Holder for Training the role oversees training policies instructor qualifications and regulatory adherence while collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain high safety and proficiency standards.Duties and responsibilities:Fulfilling the duties of Nominated Post Holder Training as defined by the GCAAImplement the policy standards and procedures of the Wizz Air Abu Dhabi OM D into all training examination and checking in contact with the Accountable ManagerEnsure the safe and efficient conduct of all Wizz Air pilot and Cabin Crew training in accordance with therelevant Civil Aviation RegulationsEnsure that the operations remain in compliance with the applicable regulationsEnable safe conduct of all flightsAscertain that all instructors are suitably qualified to conduct trainingInform the Authority about the training policies norms and standardsCoordinate flight safety and operational training items with the CP and instructorsHave training performed according to the Wizz Air flight safety policy in coordination with theManager of Safety Compliance and SecuritySet the training policy in coordination with the Chief PilotIn cooperation with the Chief Pilot Chief Cabin Crew Cabin Crew Training Manager and the instructors set standards for flight and cabin crew to be attained intraining in accordance with Regulation and the UAE Civil Aviation lawEnsure the availability of a sufficient number of properly qualified instructors and examinersEnsure the availability of sufficient training aids facilities and contracted coursesStandardize training for all Wizz Air aircraft as far as practicable in concert with the CPAs line manager provide leadership to the Cabin Crew Training ManagerProvide oversight of any ThirdParty Training organizationsRepresenting Wizz Air Abu Dhabi in relevant industry bodiesEnsure effective interoperability objectives within the Wizz Air Group companiesAuthorities of the function:The Crew Training Manager has the authority to:Standardize training for all Wizz Air aircraft as far as practicable in coordination with the NP FOInform the Authority about the training policies norms and standardsAppoint and discharge training and checking personnelTemporarily revoke crew member qualifications pending requalification or investigation into the crew member notproficientExtend or amend the training plan of a trainee in accordance with OM part D.Requirements:Fluent in English (written and spoken).Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification.Minimum 2 years of experience in management and 5 years of experience in Aviation (lowcost airline environment is advantageous)Valid Flight Crew Licence with the appropriate typerating(s) for Wizz Air Abu Dhabi operations.Instructor Certificate and/or Examiner Authorization relevant to the required typerating.Previous managerial experience in Commercial Air Transport (preferred).Eligibility and acceptance by the UAE Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).What we offer:Base salary and employee bonus schemeUnlimited number of significantly discounted and confirmed seating tickets giving access to a continuously growing network of destinationsRelocation package (if applicableLife insuranceInstant impact from any level of the organisation exposure to Csuite managementFast career progression internal mobility and talent management supported by training opportunities (Wizz Academy and bespoke trainings)True international and multicultural work environment passionate driven and diverse teamsWhen applying please only provide valid information regarding your educational background and certificates as the original documents will be requested during the hiring process.We look forward to meeting you and learning more about your skills and experience.
