Job Description

Our client, aleading, high‑end interiors company, is seeking an experienced Creative Director to take full custodianship of its creative vision, design quality, and aesthetic integrity across all interior design, architectural, and FF&E outputs.This is a senior executive role, reporting directly to the CEO, created for a creative leader who can balance design excellence with structure, governance, and commercial awareness in a fast‑paced, execution‑driven luxury environment.The RoleThe Creative Director is the guardian of the brand’s creative DNA. You will define, institutionalise, and continuously evolve the company’s design language while ensuring it is translated into clear standards, guidelines, SOPs, and governance frameworks that enable consistent, first‑time‑right delivery at scale.This role goes beyond ideation. It requires a leader who can set direction, enforce standards, make decisions, and hold teams accountable, while maintaining a luxury aesthetic that is innovative, disciplined, and execution‑ready.Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Vision & GovernanceDefine and continuously refine the company’s creative philosophy, spatial principles, material hierarchy, detailing standards, colour strategies, and FF&E integrationTranslate creative vision into documented guidelines, standards, and governance frameworksEnsure consistent application of creative standards across all projects, with structured review and corrective mechanismsQuality, Reviews & AccountabilityLead structured creative reviews and quality retrospectives with clear decision‑making authorityEnsure measurable creative outcomes, including strong first‑submission approval ratesEnforce review discipline, timely feedback, and accountability for creative decisionsIdentify recurring quality or review issues and convert them into system‑level improvementsCommercial & Operational AlignmentEnsure creative decisions align with project timelines, revenue milestones, and commercial commitmentsPartner with Planning and Operations to ensure creative ambition remains buildable, realistic, and commercially viableProactively flag creative risks that may impact cost, schedule, or client confidenceLeadership & EnforcementLead, influence, and enforce creative standards across interior design, FF&E, and technical teamsAddress non‑compliance or quality deviations through structured corrective actionMaintain strong on‑site leadership presence during key project phasesInnovation & Brand DevelopmentDrive practical, execution‑ready innovation aligned with brand positioningOversee FF&E library governance, ensuring quality, originality, and commercial viabilitySupport external visibility through senior‑level creative representation, collaborations, and industry engagementWho We’re Looking For15+ years of experience in interior design, architecture, or design‑led consultanciesProven experience as a Creative Director / Design Director in luxury residential, hospitality, or mixed‑use environmentsStrong ability to translate creativity into systems, standards, and governanceExcellent aesthetic judgment combined with strong technical and execution understandingConfident decision‑maker with authority, structure, and clarityComfortable working closely with executive leadership in high‑accountability environmentsWhy This RoleExecutive‑level creative authorityOpportunity to shape and institutionalise creativity within a luxury brandHigh visibility and influence across the business#J-18808-Ljbffr
