Crane service engineer

Our Task and ResponsibilitiesPrepare jobs by ensuring all required parts, tools and documentation are available prior to mobilization.Assess technical conditions on site and perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic/electrical cranes, including knuckle‑boom and offshore cranes.Diagnose and rectify issues related to hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, accumulators), hydraulic power packs and piping systems, load holding, slewing, luffing and hoisting functions, and electrical controls/PLCs/VFDs.Carry out work onboard vessels, offshore oil and gas installations and offshore wind installations in compliance with company standards, OEM guidelines and safety procedures.Perform function testing, commissioning and fault‑finding after repairs or modifications.Prepare clear service reports and communicate job progress and completion to the service coordinator and client.Be available for short‑notice travel, including offshore and international assignments.Your QualificationsDiploma or degree in Mechanical, Hydraulic or Marine Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.Strong hands‑on experience with hydraulic/electrical crane systems.Good knowledge of hydraulic schematics and fault diagnosis, proportional and directional control valves, hydraulic motors, pumps and cylinders, load control and safety valves, and electrical controls/PLCs/VFDs.Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in cranes or heavy‑lifting equipment.Experience in the marine and offshore industry is a strong advantage.Basic electrical and control knowledge (limit switches, sensors, solenoids) is preferred.Self‑motivated, customer‑focused and able to work independently in challenging environments.Good command of spoken and written English.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Physically fit for manual work and working at height.We OfferCompetitive compensationMedical and life insurance
