Country Director – Higher Education&Research (Saudi Arabia)

<div><p><b>Location:</b>Saudi Arabia</p><p><b>Employment Type:</b>Full-time</p><h3>Role Overview</h3><p>We are hiring a<b>Country Director – Higher Education&Research</b>to lead our growth across universities, medical schools, research centers, and academic institutions in Saudi Arabia. This role is tailored for senior sales leaders from global publishers and aggregators with strong institutional networks and experience in licensing academic and clinical content platforms.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><p>Lead and execute the higher education and research market strategy in Saudi Arabia. Drive institutional sales of:</p><ul><li>Medical and healthcare knowledge platforms</li><li>Clinical decision tools for academic use</li><li>Digital libraries and research solutions</li><li>Build relationships with:<ul><li>University leadership (Deans, Provosts, Faculty)</li><li>Medical schools and teaching hospitals</li><li>Research centers and national academic programs</li></ul></li><li>Manage the full sales cycle for institutional licensing and multi-year agreements</li><li>Expand presence across Saudi universities and GCC academic markets</li><li>Leverage existing networks to accelerate market penetration and renewals</li></ul><p>Collaborate with product teams to align solutions with:</p><ul><li>Curriculum integration</li><li>Residency and training programs</li><li>Drive account growth, renewals, and long-term partnerships</li></ul><h3>Required Experience</h3><ul><li>8–15+ years of experience in:</li><li>Academic publishing / medical content/research platforms</li><li>Institutional SaaS or subscription sales</li></ul><p>Background in organizations such as Wolters Kluwer, EBSCO, ProQuest, UpToDate, Lexicomp, FDB or similar.</p><p>Proven track record selling into universities and higher education institutions in Saudi Arabia, medical schools and academic hospitals.</p><p>Strong understanding of:</p><ul><li>Institutional licensing models</li><li>Academic procurement cycles</li><li>Established a network across the Saudi and GCC academic sectors</li></ul><h3>Leadership Profile</h3><ul><li>Strong institutional relationship builder</li><li>Proven ability to drive large academic deals and renewals</li><li>Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of education ecosystems</li><li>Ability to influence academic and clinical stakeholders</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Education, or related field</li><li>An advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus</li><li>Arabic&English fluency preferred</li></ul><h3>Compensation</h3><ul><li>Competitive monthly salary</li><li>Equity / ESOP participation</li><li>Uncapped commission/bonus structure</li><li>Opportunity to lead expansion in a high-growth regional platform</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
