In this pivotal role, you will lead cost management initiatives, drive financial efficiency across engineering projects, and provide strategic direction to cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for analyzing project costs, optimizing budgets, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of engineering solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.Lead and manage cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control activities for multiple engineering projects simultaneouslyDevelop comprehensive cost models and financial forecasts using advanced analytical tools and methodologiesAnalyze project variances and identify cost-saving opportunities through process optimization and resource efficiencyMentor and supervise junior cost engineers and support staff, providing technical guidance and performance feedbackCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to establish realistic budgets and cost baselinesMonitor project expenditures against approved budgets and prepare detailed cost reports for senior managementImplement and maintain cost management systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with organizational standardsConduct cost-benefit analyses for engineering proposals and capital investment decisionsDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce project costsEnsure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and financial controls throughout all cost management processesQualifications**Required Qualifications:**Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of professional experience in cost engineering, project cost management, or financial analysisMinimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience managing technical teamsAdvanced proficiency in cost analysis, budget management, and financial modelingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detailProficiency with ERP systems and cost management softwareExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment**Preferred Qualifications:**Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certificationExperience with cost modeling software and advanced Excel applicationsKnowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement techniquesBackground in oil and gas, manufacturing, or construction industriesExperience working in the Middle East or similar regional marketsProficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools#J-18808-Ljbffr
