Ontime Healthcare is in search of a knowledgeable and meticulous Cost Estimator within the Fitout Industry. As a Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project development process by estimating project costs and ensuring financial feasibility for our fitout projects.Key Responsibilities:Review project plans, specifications, and construction schedules to prepare precise cost estimates.Engage with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify project requirements and nuances.Conduct market research to gather data on pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.Provide detailed estimates on direct and indirect costs associated with each project.Monitor ongoing projects to track expenditures against estimated budgets and ensure financial compliance.Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender submissions.Update and maintain a cost database to reference previous projects and benchmark future estimates.Prepare periodic reports on cost-per-square-foot for the fitout industry to assess trends and provide insights.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a relevant field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost estimation within the fitout or construction industry.Proficient in industry-standard estimating software and tools.Strong numerical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.Familiarity with local market conditions and pricing trends is advantageous.Salary + Benefits#J-18808-Ljbffr
