Job Description
This role is responsible for implementing and managing cost control strategies to ensure effective financial management and project profitability. Key duties include monitoring and analyzing financial data, preparing reports and budget forecasts, coordinating with project managers to track costs, reviewing and approving expenses, conducting audits, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The position also involves training and mentoring cost control staff, supporting the finance team, collaborating on efficiency initiatives, staying updated on industry best practices, and ensuring compliance with Hill International’s quality, safety, and environmental policies, along with other assigned tasks.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement cost control strategies and procedures to ensure effective financial managementMonitor and analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitabilityPrepare and present financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analysis to senior managementCoordinate with project managers and department heads to track and control project costsReview and approve purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies and budget limitsConduct regular audits of financial records and procedures to identify and resolve discrepanciesTrain and mentor cost control staff to ensure their understanding of cost control processes and proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost reduction initiatives and drive efficiencyStay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in cost control and financial analysisProvide guidance and support to the finance team on cost control mattersInforms themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.QualificationsBachelor / Master Degree in Accountant or Engineering from an accredited university.Minimum 10 years’ experience in related field on national / international major initiatives and developments.Extensive knowledge and experience in project cost.Extensive experience in managing and prioritizing projects costs.Ability to present budgeting plans and requirements to senior management and other government authorities.Ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders to secure cost for projectsCapable to fluently communicate in Arabic and EnglishExcellent Verbal and written communication skills.Job InfoJob Identification 15063Job Category Projects ManagementPosting Date 03/26/2026, 10:39 AMApply Before 04/30/2026, 12:00 AMDegree Level Bachelor's Degree#J-18808-Ljbffr
