Reporting to: Senior Cost Control EngineerHill International provides program, project, and construction management services for clients in a range of sectors undertaking major construction projects across the world. For more information on Hill, please visit our website at www.hillintl.com .General Description of Role and Responsibilities:Develop and implement cost control strategies and procedures to ensure effective financial managementMonitor and analyze financial data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve profitabilityPrepare and present financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analysis to senior managementCoordinate with project managers and department heads to track and control project costsReview and approve purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies and budget limitsReview and track Contractors Interim, At Completion and Final PaymentsConduct regular audits of financial records and procedures to identify and resolve discrepanciesTrain and mentor cost control staff to ensure their understanding of cost control processes and proceduresCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop cost reduction initiatives and drive efficiencyStay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in cost control and financial analysisProvide guidance and support to the finance team on cost control mattersInforms themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:Bachelor in engineering from an accredited university.Minimum 10 years experience in cost control including having been a cost manager for large‑scale projects.Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, financial reporting systems, and cost analysis, in the field and the home office.Skilled in verbal and written communication.Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes.Experience in producing projects cash flow forecast.#J-18808-Ljbffr
