Cost Analyst

<div><h3><b>Job Purpose:</b></h3><p>The Cost Analyst will be responsible for analyzing product, service, and operational costs to provide insights that support expense control, efficiency improvements, and profitability. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards and company policies while delivering accurate cost analysis to support decision-making.</p><h3><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h3><ul><li>Collect and analyze data related to direct and indirect costs.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.</li><li>Monitor and explain variances between actual and planned costs.</li><li>Contribute to the development and improvement of cost systems.</li><li>Analyze product and project costs, providing recommendations for optimization.</li><li>Conduct feasibility studies, break-even, and cost-benefit analyses.</li><li>Support budget preparation with accurate cost insights.</li><li>Coordinate with different departments to identify cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>Support inventory verification and ensure accuracy of cost records.</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting policies and international standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).</li></ul><h3><b>Job Requirements:</b></h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Professional certification is preferred.</li><li>2–4 years of experience in cost analysis or industrial accounting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of cost systems (standard, actual, variable, etc.).</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.</li><li>High attention to detail.</li><li>Good command of English (spoken and written).</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
