Core Banking Consultant

Overview7 years of experience in Core Banking support preferably in Phoenix an ITS Core banking product. Should be able to analyse the problems and business issues raised by the users with respect to the deployed applications systems. Provide support for all defined banking application systems. Liaises with users to gather and consolidate the gaps existing in the deployed applications systems for enhancements. Coordinate with the Database Administrator and the Data Centre Operators as and when required to understand the data optimization and data modelling related issues. Coordinate with the IT Applications Systems Unit/Project Leaders to be aware of the projects that will be developed and implemented which will subsequently reach the maintenance and support phase.ResponsibilitiesAnalyse problems and business issues raised by users regarding deployed application systems and provide support for defined banking application systems.Liaise with users to identify gaps in deployed applications for enhancements.Coordinate with Database Administrator and Data Centre Operators to address data optimization and data modelling issues.Coordinate with IT Applications Systems Unit/Project Leaders to stay informed about projects that will transition to maintenance and support phases.Skills and QualificationsMinimum 5 years in Software development/Support (Core Banking)Good knowledge and experience in ETHIX Products: Core Branch Finance Credit and PCDGood knowledge and experience in problem analysis and in requirement analysisKnowledge of software quality in Application Maintenance pertaining to Backend applications and knowledge of configuration managementGood understanding of technofunctional implicationsExperience in analysing problem areas through discussions with various IT Applications stakeholdersA good overview of Banking functionsKnowledge in IT Project Management; IT Quality ProcessesKnowledge on IT Security policies and their relevance to implementation and operational aspects of IT ApplicationsGood communication skillsGood command of English (Arabic language would be an added advantage)Required ExperienceContract#J-18808-Ljbffr
