Copy Editor & Student Materials Writer (English)

Job Description Location: Remote | Type: Contract (June 2026 onwards) Hours: 20 hrs/week (flexible; can extend to 40 hrs) Overview We are looking for professionals to support K12 content development through copyediting and creation of student materials , ensuring high-quality, accurate, and engaging educational content. Key Responsibilities Edit content for grammar, clarity, consistency, and style guide adherence Ensure overall quality and accuracy of instructional materials Create supplemental materials such as flashcards, knowledge organizers, and presentations using templates Collaborate with internal teams to meet content standards and timelines Requirements 3-5 years of experience in copyediting and/or educational content writing Strong command of English (written & verbal) Experience in K-12 or educational publishing preferred Proficiency in MS Word, Google Docs, PowerPoint/Slides Basic familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) Additional Notes Candidates must pass a copyediting assessment Alt-text review/creation is out of scope Flexible work hours; no strict EST overlap required
