<div><h3>Contracts Director – Job Title</h3><h3>Job Summary</h3><p>The Contracts Director is responsible for leading the organization’s contracts management function, overseeing the full contract lifecycle from pre-award to close-out. This role ensures that all contracts are commercially sound, legally compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives while mitigating risk and maximizing value.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><h3>1. Contract Strategy&Leadership</h3><ul><li>Develop and implement the overall contracts management strategy.</li><li>Establish policies, procedures, and governance frameworks for contract lifecycle management.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and manage the contracts team to ensure high performance and compliance.</li><li>Collaborate with executive leadership to align contract strategies with business goals.</li></ul><h3>2. Pre-Award&Tender Management</h3><ul><li>Oversee review and negotiation of RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents.</li><li>Lead contract structuring, pricing models, and commercial terms development.</li><li>Support bid preparation teams with risk analysis and contractual clarifications.</li></ul><h3>3. Contract Negotiation&Administration</h3><ul><li>Lead complex contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners.</li><li>Ensure contracts reflect appropriate risk allocation and protect company interests.</li><li>Monitor contract performance, obligations, variations, claims, and renewals.</li><li>Oversee change management and dispute resolution processes.</li></ul><h3>4. Risk&Compliance Management</h3><ul><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.</li><li>Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Project Management teams.</li><li>Support internal and external audits related to contracts.</li></ul><h3>5. Claims&Dispute Resolution</h3><ul><li>Manage contract claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) requests.</li><li>Lead negotiation and resolution of disputes, including mediation or arbitration if required.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation and contract records.</li></ul><h3>6. Stakeholder&Relationship Management</h3><ul><li>Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters with key stakeholders.</li><li>Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.</li><li>Provide contractual guidance to project managers and business units.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications&Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, MRICS, CPCM) is preferred.</li><li>10–15+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in large-scale projects.</li><li>Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and procurement regulations.</li><li>Experience in construction, infrastructure, IT, or large corporate environments (depending on industry).</li><li>Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.</li></ul><h3>Key Competencies</h3><ul><li>Strategic Thinking</li><li>Commercial Acumen</li><li>Risk Management</li><li>Negotiation&Influence</li><li>Leadership&Team Management</li><li>Attention to Detail</li><li>Problem Solving&Decision Making</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
