<div><p><b>Location:</b>GCC (Preference: KSA experience required)</p><h3>Role Overview</h3><p>Elegancia Arabia is seeking a seasoned<b>Contracts&Commercial Director</b>to lead the commercial and contractual functions across large-scale, high-value projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in<b>mega projects within the GCC—particularly Saudi Arabia</b>, and demonstrate strong command over<b>FIDIC frameworks and Middle Eastern legal environments</b>.</p><p>This role requires a strategic leader capable of safeguarding commercial interests, optimizing contract performance, and managing risk across complex project portfolios.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead the<b>contracts and commercial strategy</b>across multiple mega projects</li><li>Oversee<b>contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution</b></li><li>Ensure compliance with<b>FIDIC contracts (Red, Yellow, Silver Books, etc.)</b></li><li>Provide expert guidance on<b>contractual risk allocation and mitigation</b></li><li>Manage<b>commercial negotiations</b>with clients, consultants, and subcontractors</li><li>Drive<b>cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting</b></li><li>Advise senior leadership on<b>legal and commercial implications</b>of project decisions</li><li>Liaise with legal teams on<b>regional laws and regulatory requirements</b>(GCC / KSA)</li><li>Establish and enforce<b>best practices in commercial governance</b></li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li><b>15–20+ years of experience</b>in contracts and commercial management</li><li>Proven track record managing<b>mega projects in the GCC</b>, with strong exposure to<b>Saudi Arabia</b></li><li>In-depth knowledge of<b>FIDIC contracts</b>and their practical application</li><li>Strong understanding of<b>Middle East construction laws and regulations</b></li><li>Background in an<b>engineering discipline</b>(Civil, Mechanical, or related)</li><li>Prior experience working within a<b>holding company or large diversified group</b>is highly preferred</li><li>Demonstrated leadership in managing<b>large commercial teams</b></li><li>Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills</li></ul><h3>Preferred Profile</h3><ul><li>Experience with<b>large-scale infrastructure, EPC, or mixed-use developments</b></li><li>Exposure to<b>multi-entity or group-level commercial oversight</b></li><li>Ability to operate at both<b>strategic and operational levels</b></li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
