Job Description

The Commercial Administrator supports the Commercial Department by streamlining processes, managing centralized contracts, enforcing stronger governance, enhancing post‑award management, improving commercial acumen, and reducing the division’s exposure to risks.ResponsibilitiesTake contracts/POs post-award administration over from Sales Teams and manage contract administration lifecycleThoroughly administer contract performance to avoid risks leading to disputes/crisis between PartiesMonitor and administer business provisions of prime contracts to ensure compliance with contractual T&CCoordinate with engineers/operations for progress of work to ascertain intime contractual obligations/deliverables fulfilled (initiate reimbursement, testing, insurance, bonds & etc.)Assist concerned departments (sales, engineering, procurement, logistic & etc.) and third parties on commercial administrationManage in-time issuance, review and approve of shipping documents, coordinate the flow of all shipping and commercial documentation, including documentary Letter of Credits, insurance, progress paymentsOversee expediting activities for awarded contracts/POsAddress areas to improve efficiencies of commercial performance risks/deviations to Commercial ManagerLiaise and coordinate approvals internally and externally (as may be appropriate)Maintain commercial process conformity to Company policy, Government regulations and best industry practicesSend commercial documents and correspondence to/with internal/external stakeholdersMarket research and benchmark analysesAssist with contracts’ close-out checklistPrepare progress and status reportsPerform other responsibilities associated with the position (as may be appropriate)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years contract administration and expediting experienceThorough knowledge of industry business practices, legislation, FIDIC forms of contract, contractual language, supplyWorking knowledge of SAP and PC software packages typically associated with commercial administrationSkills RequiredStrong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skillsExceptional numeric skillsAbility to manage large, diversified activities with multiple and competing requirementsAbility to set priorities and manage activities to successful completion meeting deadlinesAbility to perform under leadership, in fast-paced environment and be a part of diverse team#J-18808-Ljbffr
