Our Client is in search of a Content Curator to help in conducting art exhibitions for Perfumery, Retail, Food & Beverage, Luxury goods, and Events Sponsorship.Besides this, you should be able to conduct in-depth research to identify relevant information about artifacts and other art forms.You should be able to display and store all pieces of art in proper order. Also, you should ensure ancient pieces are restored in a timely manner. Moreover, you should be able to apply for grants and maintain a record of all expenses.As a Curator, you should be able to contribute your findings to research journals and publications. In addition to this, you should be able to keep updated and accurate records of artworks and present the same as and when required.Apply immediately if you can promise effective management of the job responsibilities. We would love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesRecording and maintaining necessary information about acquisitionsStoring all pieces correctlyNegotiating prices with the clientsRequesting for grants to support research studiesHiring, training, and supervising staff membersShowcasing the business at art exhibitions and other such eventsScheduling restoration appointments whenever requiredDeveloping catalogs and instructional materialsApplying for government grantsPreparing and monitoring budgetContributing articles and promotional materials to websites and social media postsAddressing any inquiries from clientsWriting and submitting exhibition proposalsMaintaining a record of all artworks for authentication and identification purposesContributing information in research journals and publicationsContacting and negotiating with vendors for items such as statues, paintings, and sculpturesPlanning and developing new collections and display itemsProviding background information to clients and visitors about specific painting, sculptures and artifactsConducting fundraising activities and eventsRequirementsBachelors degree in History, Museology or a related fieldProven work experience in the Museum as a Curator or a similar position in the relevant MediaindustryKnowledge of various art formsExcellent research and time management skillsHaving a keen eye for detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsReliable individual with strong negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyGood organizational and project management skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
