Container Team Lead - OpenShift & OpenShift AI

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Container Team Lead to drive the deployment, optimisation, and governance of containerised platforms within a managed service environment. The role requires deep expertise in OpenShift and OpenShift AI, including lifecycle management of Large Language Models (LLMs), automation initiatives, and ensuring SLA-driven operational excellence.This position combines hands‑on technical leadership with platform governance and team management responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead deployment, configuration, and optimisation of OpenShift and OpenShift AI platformsManage lifecycle of containerised workloads, including LLM deploymentsOversee Kubernetes-based orchestration and platform scalabilityImplement automation frameworks for provisioning, monitoring, and patchingEnsure high availability, security compliance, and SLA adherenceDrive performance tuning and capacity planningLead a team of platform engineers and DevOps specialistsCollaborate with AI/ML teams to containerise and operationalise modelsEnsure governance, documentation, and operational best practicesRequired Experience8–10 years of experience in container platforms and cloud‑native environmentsStrong hands‑on experience with OpenShift and KubernetesExperience deploying and managing LLMs in containerised environmentsStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible), and GitOpsExperience in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi‑cloud environmentsProven team leadership experiencePreferred CertificationsRed Hat OpenShift CertificationKubernetes (CKA/CKAD)Cloud‑native platform certificationsKey CompetenciesAutomation‑driven mindsetStrong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skillsAbility to operate in SLA‑driven environmentsStrong stakeholder communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
