The hospital serves a diverse international patient population and maintains high standards of maternal and reproductive healthcare.Role OverviewPosition: Consultant / Specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology PhysicianLocation: Dubai United Arab EmiratesHealthcare Setting: Multispecialty hospital with maternity and womens health servicesExperience Required: Minimum 3 years post specialist or board certificationPractice Model: Combination of outpatient consultations, inpatient obstetric care and gynecological proceduresThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care ensuring safe pregnancy management, diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions and preventive healthcare for women across different life stages.Key Responsibilities Obstetrics & GynecologyProvide comprehensive obstetric care including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal management of pregnanciesConduct routine prenatal examinations, fetal monitoring and risk assessment for pregnant patientsManage normal and high‑risk pregnancies ensuring appropriate maternal and fetal carePerform vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections when clinically requiredDiagnose and treat gynecological conditions such as hormonal disorders, menstrual abnormalities, infections and reproductive health issuesPerform gynecologic surgical procedures including minimally invasive and laparoscopic interventions where appropriateConduct screening and preventive services including cervical cancer screening and reproductive health assessmentsProvide family planning services, contraception counselling and fertility guidanceManage menopause‑related conditions and hormonal health issuesCollaborate with neonatologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient careMaintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in accordance with regulatory and hospital standardsParticipate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs and maternal health initiativesEnsure compliance with international obstetric and gynecological care guidelines and UAE healthcare regulationsQualifications & Board RecognitionApplications are welcome from physicians holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:American Board of Obstetrics & GynecologyUK CCT / MRCOG / FRCOGEuropean Board Certification in Obstetrics & GynecologyRoyal College Certification (Canada)Australian Fellowship (FRANZCOG)Arab Board in Obstetrics & GynecologyMD / MS / DNB / FCPS Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent recognised specialist qualificationCandidates must meet eligibility requirements for DOH / DHA / MOH licensing.
