Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist (Arabic‑speaking) to join a reputable healthcare organization in Qatar. This full‑time role offers a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a modern, patient‑centered medical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose a wide range of ocular conditionsPerform advanced ophthalmic surgeries, including cataract, glaucoma, corneal, and retinal procedures (depending on subspecialty)Manage acute and chronic eye diseases using evidence‑based treatment plansInterpret diagnostic imaging such as OCT, fundus photography, visual fields, and ocular ultrasoundProvide pre‑operative and post‑operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomesCollaborate with optometrists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient careEducate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive measuresMaintain accurate and compliant medical records in accordance with Qatari healthcare regulationsParticipate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical auditsContribute to the training and mentorship of junior doctors, residents, and allied health professionalsStay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and incorporate new techniques into practiceQualificationsMedical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institutionBoard certification in OphthalmologyMinimum 5 years of post‑qualification experienceProficiency in ophthalmic surgeries relevant to the candidate’s subspecialtyStrong communication skills with fluency in Arabic (required)Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced clinical environmentMust hold or be eligible for Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) licensing#J-18808-Ljbffr
