<div><p>Ability Pediatric Rehab Center is seeking a highly experienced and compassionate<b>Consultant in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics</b>to lead clinical care for children with neurodevelopmental and behavioral challenges. This role is pivotal in advancing our centers reputation as a trusted hub for early intervention and developmental support across the UAE.</p><h3>Clinical Leadership</h3><ul><li>Conduct detailed developmental assessments and diagnose conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning difficulties, speech and motor delays, and behavioral disorders.</li><li>Create and oversee individualized care plans that integrate therapy across OT, speech, psychology, and behavioral services.</li><li>Ensure evidence-based practices are followed and updated across the team.</li></ul><h3>Family&Patient Support</h3><ul><li>Counsel families with empathy and clarity, helping them understand diagnoses, treatment plans, and long-term developmental pathways.</li><li>Serve as a trusted advisor and point of reference for both internal teams and external pediatricians or educational institutions.</li></ul><h3>Interdisciplinary Collaboration</h3><ul><li>Lead clinical case discussions with in-house therapists (SLPs, OTs, psychologists, behavior therapists).</li><li>Contribute to team training and mentoring to elevate the clinical standards of the center.</li></ul><h3>Program&Service Development</h3><ul><li>Help design and implement specialized care programs (Early Intervention, School Readiness, Social Integration).</li><li>Work closely with management to expand Ability's reach and clinical offerings in line with patient needs and market trends.</li></ul><h3>Administrative Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with center leadership to define and implement departmental goals, workflows, and clinical priorities.</li><li>Ensure accurate, timely documentation of patient records and compliance with regulatory standards.</li><li>Contribute to policy development, licensing preparations, and audits related to pediatric services.</li><li>Participate in staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations for relevant clinical team members.</li><li>Assist in planning schedules, resource allocation, and reporting for developmental and behavioral services.</li></ul><h3>Quality and Compliance Requirements</h3><ul><li>Monitor and uphold clinical quality standards in line with DOH (Abu Dhabi) regulations and international best practices.</li><li>Lead or contribute to internal audits, incident reviews, and clinical governance initiatives.</li><li>Support the development and use of outcome-based metrics to evaluate patient progress and service impact.</li><li>Champion continuous improvement by identifying service gaps and proposing corrective actions.</li><li>Ensure all clinical interactions follow ethical, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive practices.</li></ul><h3>Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Efficient use of center resources in diagnostics and treatment planning.</li><li>Support service line development initiatives that contribute to revenue growth.</li><li>Uphold highest standards of patient care and ethics.</li><li>Drive excellence in team collaboration and patient satisfaction.</li><li>Promote community and professional awareness of developmental pediatrics.</li><li>Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Mentor and train junior staff and therapy team members.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><b>Minimum:</b></p><ul><li>Medical Degree (MD or equivalent)</li><li>DOH (Abu Dhabi) license or eligibility to obtain it</li></ul><p><b>Desired:</b></p><ul><li>Board Certification or Fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Pediatric Neurology, or a closely related specialty</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><b>Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 10 years post-certification in pediatric developmental/behavioral care</li><li>Experience in interdisciplinary rehab settings and program development</li></ul><p><b>Skills&Abilities:</b></p><ul><li>Expertise in diagnosing and managing ASD, ADHD, etc.</li><li>Strong family engagement and communication skills</li><li>Leadership in cross-functional clinical teams</li><li>Program development experience</li><li>Familiarity with regional developmental screening tools and protocols</li><li>Ability to represent the center in clinical forums or professional events</li></ul><p><b>Remote Work:</b>No</p><p><b>Employment Type:</b>Full-time</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
