Consultant - Anaesthesia

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical and medical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures</li><li>Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration</li><li>Assess patients’ medical history and develop individualized anesthesia care plans</li><li>Manage pain control and post‑operative care</li><li>Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care support</li><li>Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals</li><li>Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and international standards</li><li>Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous education</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)</li><li>Completion of a recognized residency in Anesthesiology</li><li>Board Certification / Fellowship in Anesthesia</li><li>Valid medical license to practice</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in a tertiary care hospital)</li><li>Strong clinical, decision‑making, and communication skills</li></ul><h3>Preferred Skills</h3><ul><li>Experience in critical care and pain management</li><li>Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment</li><li>Commitment to patient safety and quality care</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
