Construction Project Manager , GREF – Global Construction

<div><p>Job ID: 10376879 | Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited</p><p>GREF’s Workplace Design and Construction team is looking for a Construction Manager to drive construction services on projects, including tenant improvements, new builds, expansions, and renovations of Amazon corporate facilities. Responsible for delivery of projects from outset of design through operational turnover, this individual must be comfortable operating on both strategic and tactical levels, an internal ambassador, educator, analyst, solutions architect, and implementer.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Represent GREF to internal customers for the delivery of their space.</li><li>Work closely with and influence internal and external stakeholders including architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure decisions are made at the appropriate level and Amazon’s priorities are always the driving factor.</li><li>Provide management of design and construction projects, which may include the following:<ul><li>Develop and implement project strategies and ensure appropriate resources are allocated to complete the project in accordance with the strategy. Develop and maintain project timelines.</li><li>Lead project meetings and progress reviews.</li><li>Provide feedback to design guidelines, including minimum specifications, basis of design for various building systems, etc.</li><li>Guidance of construction, including selection of contractors, contract negotiations, approvals of budgets, change orders, procurement and contracting methods, schedule, and subcontractors.</li><li>Evaluations, approvals, or rejections of changes by customers and other consultants.</li><li>Monitor project budgets, track costs and prepare forecasts and accruals, manage change orders and contract modifications, review and approve payments.</li><li>Identify and mitigate project risks, ensure compliance with contracts and regulations, monitor safety standards and requirements, address and resolve project issues.</li><li>Hold Landlords accountable to lease terms such as premises delivery timing and condition.</li><li>Ensure tenant improvement allowances are collected timely.</li></ul></li></ul><h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science.</li><li>Experience in project management from design phase through implementation and operation.</li><li>5+ years professional experience required, a significant portion of which should demonstrate success in one or more of the following areas: Real Estate Development, Architecture/Design, and/or Construction Management.</li><li>Highly competent with personal computers and productivity software, including Microsoft Office, MS Project and SharePoint.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience in project management in construction and contracts management.</li></ul><p>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
