Construction Manager

Position: Construction Manager - Civil Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all aspects of civil construction projects from conception to completion Develop project plans and schedules ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards Coordinate with project team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of construction activities Monitor and control project progress identifying and addressing any issues or delays Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards and maintain a safe working environment for all workers on site Review and approve project designs, plans and specifications Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients Manage project budget including cost estimation, tracking expenses and making adjustments as necessary Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications Resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during the construction process Provide leadership and guidance to project team members motivating and supporting them to achieve project goals Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements and implement best practices to improve project efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on civil construction GCC experience is required Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering civil construction projects on time and within budget Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques and materials Excellent project management, organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Familiarity with relevant safety and quality standards and regulations Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team Proficient in project management software and MS Office applications.
