Start on assoon as possibleASAPDuration13 months (Extendable)Hours/rotation:Rotation of 60 days on siteand 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).Salary range:Excellent salary packagewith benefits.Single Status.Accommodation (Meals)provided by the company.Transportation provided bythe company.Round trip ticket on eachrotation (Economy class).Construction HSEEngineer- Permit to Work Coordinator verifies and ensures that all Fieldactivities are performed according to the HSE Policy, the regulations,standards and procedures, promoting all preventive and corrective actionas required.Duties and responsibilitiesEnsure that the “Permit to Work (PTW) Procedure” isfollowed, permits are distributed, opened and closed according toprocedural requirements, ensuring that permits are correctly completedby the Issuing Authority and the Performing Authority, and finallyarchived.The WPC will be holder of the PTW Register. AllPermits shall be registered daily before allowed their validity.When a PTW is closed or suspended the WPC mustupdate the PTW Register accordingly.To perform the Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) andparticipate to the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSEPlan and all related procedures, to the preparing any revisions.To update the HSE documentation during all theconstruction phases when deemed necessary.To check that subcontractors perform theiractivities in accordance with all the HSE applicable procedures,regulation and standards, promoting all necessary action to ensure thatthe said procedures and regulations are observed.To organize, plan and participate to periodical HSEwalk around, inspections and audits on site, prepare all the relevantreports, action plans, verify the follow up and the timely execution ofthe corrective action.To organize, coordinate and directly participate inthe HSE Training activities on site.To organize and participate to all relevant site HSEMeetings, prepare the relevant MOM.To cooperate with the Client concerning the issue ofany necessary work permits.To organize in case of work accidents a fullinvestigation of the event, finalized to the identification ofcorrective measure to avoid reoccurrence.To keep accident records, identifying the areas towhich prevention must be addressed.To perform and or promote the indoctrination /training of personnel.Lead and coordinate the activities off the Site HSECommittee (composed by all Contractor and Subcontractors HSERepresentative).To lead and coordinate the site emergency responseteam and fire.prevention/fighting team, organizing training andemergency drill mock activities.To prepare the HSE section of the constructionmonthly progress report and other periodical report.To prepare and update the Site HSE Statistics,verify the performance versus the Project and corporate HSE Objective,Targets and performance indicators.Propose recovery plan in case of mismatch.PersonSpecificationKnowledge & QualificationsBachelor’sDegree preferably in Engineering or Science from a reputed University.ExperienceMinimum10 years’ experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installationand/or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas orpetrochemical industries.Relevantexperience in 3 major EPC projects; oil & gas, petrochemical sector.NEBOSHGC/IGC. Diploma in Safety or any other HSE Certification (considered atADNOC Group discretion).Leadauditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent. Incident Investigationtechnique.ADNOCapproval will be an advantage.AdditionalHSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.Skills and AbilitiesHavestrong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behaviouralaspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.Ableto lead a team of HSE professionals such as HSE Engineers, Sr. HSEofficers, HSE officers etc.Soundunderstanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislativerequirements.Broadknowledge and experience in audit processes.Abilityto analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques. Awarenessof H2S hazards and control measures.Abilityto speak, read & write English with good communication skillsEffective interpersonal andverbal & written communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
