Job Description

OverviewRotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).Excellent salary package with benefitsSingle Status.Accommodation provided by the company.Transportation provided by the company.Round trip ticket on each rotation (Economy class).ResponsibilitiesEach supervisor reports to the construction manager, with the exclusion of MCS and PIS that report to MSP, when he / she is present in the site team.The electrical supervisor directs subcontractor activities for his / her own discipline, ensuring that plant construction works are performed according to the erection schedules and project documents, within the assigned cost budget, and according to quality & safety procedures, as well as according to the terms and conditions of the subcontract.One or more assistants to whom he / she may delegate some functions, may support him / her.Duties and responsibilitiesPrior to the start of works, to check thesupplier’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule.Check that the same is inline with construction schedules and contractual commitments.To check that the saidschedule is kept to, and to promote action to recover any delay.To check that the equipmentand manpower employed by the subcontractor are adequate and that theworks performed by the subcontractor conform to design documents, safetyregulations, and to the quality level fixed by the same.To prepare the non-conformityregister for each subcontractor and coordinate non-conformityresolution.To detect any design errors,and where possible rectify the same or request the site engineer to makethe necessary changes.To check subcontractors’ workprogress status sheets and sign the same for approval.To assist the contractengineer in defining new prices, in preparing amendments to subcontractsand in analyzing and discussing claims.In home office (wheneverpossible) to cooperate with the project team for the constructabilityand feasibility studies, with APPAL for technical tabulation of thecivil bidders’ proposals and clarification meeting with the bidders,with civil department to analyze / define the WR to be included in thescope of work of subcontractor.Person SpecificationKnowledge & QualificationsUniversity Degree or Diploma inElectrical Engineering or equivalent.ExperienceMinimum of 10-12 years work experience.Significant experience in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects/Refinery.Skills and AbilitiesStrong leadership and coordination skills.Good judgment and decision-making under pressure.Effective communication and reporting skills.Proficient in English (written and spoken).#J-18808-Ljbffr
