The Company prioritises excellence and compliance in all its operations and is focused on creating sustainable growth while adhering to global standards.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Compliance Officer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the Company's compliance framework and ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance standards. The role involves close collaboration with senior management and cross-functional teams, direct engagement with regulators, and acting as the Company's primary liaison with VARA.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the Company’s primary liaison on regulatory and compliance mattersSupport the AML/CFT framework across CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity escalation processesConduct compliance reviews and auditsPrepare, maintain, and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and controlsSupport regulatory reporting, internal readiness, and audit coordinationDevelop training materials and deliver compliance trainingWork closely with internal teams to embed compliance and control requirements into business operationsQualificationsMinimum 5 years of compliance and risk management experience, preferably within virtual assets, fintech, payments, or another regulated sectorBachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required; advanced certifications in compliance or risk management are a plusEligible to meet applicable VARA fit and proper requirementsUAE resident or UAE passport holder; candidates currently based in Dubai will be preferredStrong knowledge and experience in compliance management and regulatory complianceDeep understanding of VARA regulations and the UAE PDPLExperience with MiCA, FATF Travel Rule compliance, or other international virtual asset standards is an advantageStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsDetail-oriented, organised, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
