We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis I - Pastry to join our culinary team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Commis I - Pastry you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations assisting in the preparation of delectable pastries and desserts while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.Stock the pastry kitchen with necessary ingredients and materials dailyOperate and maintain pastry-related equipment safely and efficientlyMaster basic pastry-making techniques and methodsPrepare pastry items according to standard recipes ensuring portion control and minimizing wasteAssist in creating daily mise en place for the pastry stationFollow and apply food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) in all pastry preparation activitiesClean and maintain all equipment within the pastry production areaCollaborate with the pastry team to ensure timely and high-quality production of desserts and pastriesReport any hazards unsafe working conditions or equipment issues to the immediate supervisor promptlyContribute to the development of new pastry recipes and presentationsAssist in inventory management and stock rotation for the pastry sectionQualifications : High School diploma or equivalentBasic pastry-making skills and knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP)Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsFlexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidaysPrevious experience in Food & Beverage operations preferredStrong attention to detail teamwork and communication skillsPassion for pastry and willingness to learn and grow in the culinary fieldRemote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Culinary Experience,Food Handling,Restaurant Experience,Food Preparation Experience,Kitchen Experience,Hotel Experience,Taleo,Cake Decorating,Cooking,Baking,Sanitation,Knife Skills Experience: years Vacancy: 1
