We are seeking a talented and dedicated Commis I - Cold Kitchen to join our culinary team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will assist in the preparation of cold dishes salads and appetizers contributing to our commitment to culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.Assist in preparing mise-en-place for salads appetizers dressings and cold plattersSupport the creation of buffet presentations and à la carte cold itemsEnsure consistent food quality portion control and adherence to recipes and plating guidelines for cold dishesMaintain proper storage and freshness of ingredientsKeep workstations clean and organized in compliance with HACCP and local regulationsAssist senior chefs in daily operations and contribute to a smooth workflowMonitor and record temperatures of refrigerators and cold roomsManage stock levels and report shortages to senior chefsUphold safety hygiene and sanitation standards at all timesCollaborate with other kitchen sections during serviceContribute to menu development and seasonal dish creationQualifications : 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant settingSolid understanding of culinary techniques particularly in cold kitchen preparationsProficiency in food safety practices and HACCP principlesAbility to work efficiently under pressure and follow instructions accuratelyStrong teamwork and communication skillsExcellent time-management and organizational abilitiesPassion for culinary excellence and continuous learningKnowledge of international cuisine and current culinary trendsAbility to read and follow recipes accuratelyFlexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsHigh school diploma or equivalent; culinary school certificate preferredRemote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Food Service,Hp Unix,Building Construction,Aerospace,Drafting,Cisco Experience: years Vacancy: 1
