Job SummaryWe are seeking a results-driven Commercial Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all commercial aspects of projects related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contracting, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement commercial strategies to maximize project profitability.Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance to ensure targets are met.Provide commercial support to the project team and resolve any contractual disputes.Conduct risk assessment and develop mitigation plans to minimize financial exposure.Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.Candidate RequirementsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction ManagementMRICS or equivalent professional certification is preferred.Courses in Contract Management Preferred.15 Years of Experience in Commercial Management of MEP works.SkillsIn-depth knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.Strong understanding of commercial and contract management within the construction industry.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to analyze market trends and develop pricing strategies.Project management skills to oversee large-scale MEP projects.Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Leadership qualities to manage a team effectively.Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the construction sector.Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
