Commercial Manager - Marine

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager for a Marine project to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this pivotal role you will be responsible for overseeing cost management and commercial aspects of our marine projects ensuring financial efficiency and profitability.Develop and implement cost control strategies for marine projectsAnalyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports for senior managementNegotiate and manage contracts with vendors suppliers and clientsCreate and maintain project budgets forecasting potential cost overrunsCollaborate with project managers to optimize resource allocation and cost-effectivenessConduct regular financial audits and risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with maritime regulations and industry standardsIdentify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsProvide expert commercial advice on marine projects and operationsManage relationships with key stakeholders including clients and partnersQualifications : Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or a related fieldMinimum of 15 years experience in cost management or commercial roles within the marine industryProven track record in financial analysis contract negotiation and cost estimation for large-scale marine projectsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial management softwareStrong understanding of maritime regulations and industry standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environmentProfessional certifications such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) preferredWillingness to travel occasionally to marine sites or client locations as requiredAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
