Commercial Director

Role Responsibilities:Build lead and develop the commercial and cost management function into a high performing teamDevelop and embed strategic principles around the proactive management of design functions and deliverablesDesign and implement all contract management processes tools and products to support the JV to make informed data driven strategic decisionsSupport the work winning team to review and identify risks and accountabilities within tender packs and contractual termsPrepare develop and implement commercial solutions to support work winningIdentify and manage all commercial risk on new and existing contractsFully accountable for contract compliance and performanceNegotiate contract agreements and manage all non-standard contractual issuesWork with senior management to ensure projects exceed commercial targetsOversee the development and presentation of accurate Management InformationWork in collaboration with the finance team to produce accurate forecastsReview competencies of all personnel within the department to ensure that all personnel have suitable training qualifications & behaviours to ensure suitability for the role.Accountable for the creation and management of a high performing workforce within the discipline.Familiarise and actively engage in using the Notify system and ensure direct reports are fully aware of the Notify system and use the system for Health and Safety related matters.Have an in depth understanding of all information security projects policies and procedures.Oversees and ensures that direct reports receive governance training on all information security policies and procedures.Ensures that any update in information security policies and procedures are communicated to direct reports.Understand the procedure for effective reporting and management of security incidents and breachesQualifications :Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field; advanced degree preferredMinimum of 25 years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects with a focus on rail sectorProven track record in successful delivery of design and build projectsExtensive experience in multi-disciplinary coordination and contractor managementStrong understanding of rail sector regulations standards and best practicesExcellent project management skills including budgeting scheduling and risk managementDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a complex project environmentSuperior communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in project management software and toolsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirableWillingness to relocate to Dubai United Arab EmiratesAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environmentRemote Work :NoEmployment Type :Full-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
