COD Operator

The COD Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the corrugated pipe production line (DWC/COD), ensuring consistent product quality, optimal machine performance, and adherence to safety and production standards.Key Responsibilities1. Machine OperationOperate and monitor the corrugated pipe (COD/DWC) extrusion line.Set and adjust machine parameters such as temperature, speed, pressure, and vacuum settings.Ensure smooth and continuous production with minimal downtime.2. Production MonitoringFollow daily production plans and achieve assigned targets.Monitor output, scrap levels, and line efficiency.Report any deviations or production issues immediately.3. Quality ControlInspect finished products for:Proper corrugation shapeWall thicknessCoordinate with Quality Department for testing and compliance.Ensure products meet company and industry standards.Ensure correct material usage and avoid contamination.Coordinate with Mixing/Material team when required.5. TroubleshootingIdentify and resolve minor machine or process issues.Stop the machine safely in case of abnormal conditions.Report major issues to Maintenance team promptly.6. Safety ComplianceFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.7. DocumentationRecord production data, downtime, and waste.Maintain daily logs and shift reports accurately.Qualifications & RequirementsDiploma or Technical Certification (Mechanical / Electrical preferred)2–5 years experience in plastic manufacturing or extrusion linesExperience in corrugated (DWC/COD) pipe production is preferredBasic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to work in shift-based environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
