Job Title: Cloudflare Solutions Engineer (SASE & Zero Trust)Location: Onsite QatarEmployment Type: Contract of 3 yearsJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilledCloudflare Solutions Engineerwith expertise inSecure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Zero Trust security models. This role is primarily focused on thedaily operations, implementation, and managementof Cloudflare solutions, includingCDN, WAF, DDo S protection, DNS security, and Zero Trust network access. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Cloudflare's security and performance solutions to protect and enhance our organization's infrastructure.Primary Responsibilities:Manage and operate Cloudflare security solutionson a day-to-day basis, ensuring optimal performance and protection.Implement and maintain Cloudflares Zero Trust solutionsto enhance secure remote access and identity-based security.Monitor and respond to security incidentsrelated to Cloudflare-protected assets, including WAF events, bot mitigation, and DDo S attacks.Optimize CDN performance and manage caching policies , page rules, and load balancing configurations.Administer Cloudflare Gateway, Access, and Tunnel solutionsto enforce security policies and enhance network protection.Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues , analyzing logs and traffic patterns to improve system reliability.Integrate Cloudflare services with existing security infrastructure , including identity providers (SSO, MFA) and SIEM solutions.Automate and streamline security operationsthrough Cloudflare API and Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia C) tools.Stay updated on the latest Cloudflare features and best practices , recommending improvements to enhance security and efficiency.Work closely with Dev Ops, IT, and security teamsto ensure Cloudflare solutions align with business and security requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications:3+ years of experienceworking withCloudflare security and performance solutions(WAF, CDN, DDo S, Zero Trust, DNS security, etc.).Strong understanding ofZero Trust security principles , network security, andSASE frameworks.Hands-on experience inconfiguring and troubleshooting Cloudflare Access, Gateway, and Tunnels.Proficiency inDNS management, TLS/SSL, and network securityconcepts.Experience inlog analysis and security monitoring toolsfor identifying and mitigating threats.Knowledge offirewall rules, rate limiting, and bot mitigation techniquesin Cloudflare.Familiarity withIa C tools (Terraform, Ansible) and Cloudflare APIsfor automation.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve performance/security issues.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications:Cloudflare Certifications (e.g.,Cloudflare Certified Zero Trust SpecialistorCloudflare Certified Network Security Specialist ).Experience integrating Cloudflare solutions withSIEM tools, identity providers (Okta, Azure AD), or security frameworks.Prior experience working withmulti-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)and Cloudflares integrations.Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
