The role focuses on enabling organizations to migrate, modernize, and optimize their workloads on the cloud by defining architecture strategies, implementing cloud foundations, and enabling DevOps practices that support automated and reliable delivery.Roles and responsibilitiesDesign end-to-end cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform supporting enterprise workloads and cloud-native applicationsLead workload migration from on-premise or other cloud platforms to Google Cloud using structured migration frameworks and best practices.Define DevOps and platform engineering architectures including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and release managementDefine migration strategies including rehost, replatform, refactor, rebuild, and replace approachesDesign and implement cloud landing zones aligned with security, governance, and compliance requirementsArchitect scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions leveraging GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, GKE, and Cloud RunLead migration assessments including application discovery, dependency mapping, and migration wave planningCollaborate with engineering teams to implement Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as TerraformEnsure operational readiness through monitoring, logging, and reliability best practicesProvide technical leadership and architecture guidance throughout cloud migration and modernization programsSupport pre-sales activities including architecture workshops, and technical proposal developmentContribute to internal capability development, best practices, and reusable architecture patternsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or cloud consulting rolesStrong experience designing solutions on Google Cloud PlatformGoogle Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certificationExperience leading enterprise workload migrations to public cloud environmentsExperience implementing DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automationStrong understanding of cloud infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, and identity managementExperience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred)Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or similar toolsStrong understanding of cloud networking including VPC design, hybrid connectivity, and security controlsExcellent communication skills and ability to present architecture solutions to technical and business stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsStrong understanding of cloud network architecture including the DR and cloud services and replication methodologiesDeep expertise in core in
