Clinical Dietitian

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Dietitian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is within one of the UAE's largest government‑affiliated healthcare networks well recognized for delivering world‑class patient care and comprehensive clinical services. The Dietitian will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing individualized diet plans, and providing education to promote optimal health and recovery. Candidates with experience supporting pediatric patients are highly preferred.ResponsibilitiesAssess the nutritional needs of patients through clinical evaluation, dietary history and laboratory results.Develop individualized meal plans and nutrition programs tailored to patients' medical conditions and lifestyle requirements.Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients, families and caregivers.Monitor patient progress, adjust diet plans and document outcomes in line with clinical standards.Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.Support patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, obesity and malnutrition.Guide patients undergoing specialized treatments (e.g., oncology, renal therapy, pediatric care) with appropriate dietary management.Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and regulatory standards.Stay updated on evidence‑based nutrition practices and emerging dietary guidelines.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or a related field.Valid UAE license/registration as a Dietitian or eligibility to obtain one.Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets and medical nutrition therapy.Excellent communication and counseling skills.Ability to work effectively with both adult and pediatric patient groups.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.#J-18808-Ljbffr
