Job Description As an Adaptive AUTOSAR Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and integrating complex software applications leveraging the Adaptive AUTOSAR platform for advanced functionalities in the automotive industry. Your responsibilities will include: - Adaptive AUTOSAR Application Development: - Design, develop, and implement software components based on the Adaptive AUTOSAR standard for multi-core/HPC automotive platforms. - Utilize Adaptive AUTOSAR Functional Clusters to build robust applications. - Develop service-oriented applications and define service interfaces using modern communication middleware. - Implement communication mechanisms within the Adaptive AUTOSAR framework. - Ensure adherence to Adaptive AUTOSAR methodologies and best practices. - Software Architecture and Design: - Collaborate with system architects to define software architectures for Adaptive AUTOSAR applications. - Contribute to the detailed design of software modules, ensuring modularity and scalability. - Analyze and optimize application performance in a clustered environment. - Integration and Deployment: - Integrate Adaptive AUTOSAR applications with the underlying Platform stack. - Configure and deploy software on target hardware. - Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues. - Testing and Validation: - Develop and execute tests to ensure functionality and performance. - Define verification and validation criteria for requirements. - Work with test automation frameworks and tools. - Collaboration and Documentation: - Work closely with cross-functional teams. - Participate in technical reviews and design discussions. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation. Desirable Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. - (X+) years of experience in embedded software development in automotive systems. - Hands-on experience with Classic AUTOSAR architecture and Functional Clusters. - Proficiency in C++ programming and object-oriented design principles. - Experience with automotive communication protocols and software development tools. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of software development methodologies. - Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis. Nice to Have: - Experience with specific Classic AUTOSAR toolchains. - Knowledge of model-based design. - Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies. - Familiarity with automotive diagnostic protocols. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of automotive network management.
