Civil Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Technician to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Civil Technician you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering projects by assisting with design drafting and field inspections.Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareAssist in the collection and analysis of field data for various civil engineering projectsConduct site inspections and document findings to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulationsCreate and maintain project documentation including reports, charts and mapsCollaborate with engineers and other team members to support project planning and executionUtilize GIS software to create and update spatial data for project planning and analysisPerform basic engineering calculations and quantity takeoffsAssist in the preparation of technical reports and presentationsQualificationsAssociates degree or diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field2-3 years of experience in civil engineering or a related fieldProficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareExperience with GIS software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong technical drawing and drafting skillsAbility to collect and analyze data efficiently and accuratelyKnowledge of civil engineering principles and practicesFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAEExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skills in English both verbal and writtenAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentRelevant certifications (e.g. NICET EIT) preferredWillingness to work on construction sites and perform field inspections in various weather conditionsRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
