The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Design: Develop, review, and approve engineering plans, specifications, and drawings for residential buildings and related civil works, including roads, drainage systems, and structural elements.Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee project activities, ensuring timely completion within approved budgets. Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.Site Analysis & Assessment: Conduct site inspections, feasibility studies, soil investigations, and environmental assessments as required.Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering works comply with applicable codes, regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements. Implement and monitor quality control procedures.Problem Solving: Identify technical issues during design and construction phases and provide effective engineering solutions.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, technical submissions, variations, and final project reports.Reporting MechanismDirect Reporting: Report directly to the Project Manager / Engineering Lead on project progress, challenges, and deliverables.Cross-Functional Coordination: Provide regular updates to other departments including Planning, Procurement, Contracts, and Site Operations as required.Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project milestones, risks, and resolutions to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.Performance Reviews: Participate in periodic performance review meetings and submit constructive inputs and technical insights.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
